French School of the Caucasus

The French School of the Caucasus (EFC) was established in 2006. After four years located at the French Cultural Centre, it moved to its current location on the edge of Vake Park, and now welcomes children ages 3 to 18. At the time of registration in 2014, EFC enrolled 270 students.
Legal person and non-profit, EFC is a private school subject to local law. Its cycles 1, 2, and 3 (kindergarten and elementary levels) are approved by the Ministry of French Education. The Secondary School (Collège) follows the curriculum laid out by the French Ministry of Education, with live teaching since 2012. The High School (Lycée) works with Cned (The National Centre for Distance Education) and employs teaching assistants for every subject.
The school offers a curriculum program consistent with the French Ministry of Education.
